This shoot is one I had been waiting for, for a longggg time. My brother-in-law William had told Christian and I that he was planning on proposing over Christmas break and we were SO excited!! I knew they wanted to take pictures in Carmel, CA (where my husband grew up) and I knew it would be so pretty! He proposed to Jaycie on New Year's day at Ribera Beach and then 2 days later I took their engagement photos at the same beach. It was cloudy and no wind, so it was perfect for photos. It was also right before the cyclone hit California that left the state in a flood. We did most the photos in their formal clothes and then they did an outfit change to a casual outfit for the last half of the shoot. All in all, this was a perfect shoot and I was so excited I got to take their photos!!! Can't wait for their wedding day!
