Katie & Taylor's wedding was truly such a stunning weekend and I was so honored that they had me capture it! We started on friday at the new temple in St. George, it was my first time shooting here and it definitely didn't disappoint! They exited the temple in the later afternoon and it was so fun to see how excited everyone was for them, they had so many people in attendance so it was fun to capture that excitement in their photos! We started with the big group photos on the staircase, and then family photos, bridal party photos, and then we finished with just photos of Katie & Taylor. We were trying to work a little fast with the group photos since it was so hot outside, but luckily we had lots of shade at the temple so it wasn't bad! Taking photos of the two of them around the temple was amazing, I felt like I could have kept taking photos for hours there because of how incredible they looked and the scenery was also insane!
The next day was the day of the reception. We drove up to Alpine, Utah for that event that evening and it took place in a beautiful backyard with an incredible view of Mount Timpanogos. It was fun meeting so many people that were so excited for Katie & Taylor to start their married life, and who were just there to celebrate them. They had lots of fun snacks and treats at their reception- like Gelato! It was fun photographing their cake cutting, and then we followed that with the first dances. To end the night they had a massive dance party, where literally everyone was on the dance floor! We then finished it with a sparkler send off, and I was obsessed with Katie's pink dress that she changed into. It really popped in the photos and was such a fun detail! I'm so happy I was able to capture such fun photos and work with Katie & Taylor, they're some of the kindest people and so easy to work with. 10/10 day!
